Our first #FOODFIGHTS dinner

Well, here we are a month after our first #FOODFIGHTS meal and to be honest, we're still in awe of how everything went. The food was perfect, the company was even more fantastic and the education we received promoted a sense of... well.. "I've got to do more." It was exactly how we wanted it to go and couldn't be more honored to have had such perfect participation in the event!

We invited the amazing Kelly Welk of Cider Press Lane to our event and her mentoring during this entire set up process was full of love and passion for protecting our community and empowering like minded individuals to step out in faith and change the world.

We ended up being able to write a check to The Jonah Project for $545 and only expect our partnerships with YOU will grow this number even higher. Diana McMillan of the Jonah Project came and spoke about the statistics of child sex trafficking in the United States and Spokane and how EVERYONE can make a difference in the lives of children all over our beloved city. If you want to know more about the Jonah Project, please click here and attend our next dinner!

A special thanks to Debbie Abrams for her table decor, Meat BBQ and Taco Del Mar at Wandermere for their fantastic food donations, Lil'Punkin Pie Co. for a delicious desert, Axe & Lathe for the gorgeous menu and all of our beautiful volunteers who helped make this event perfect and Tabi Oberdorfer of TO Photography for capturing such a perfect event.
